SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Ten burglary suspects have been arrested in Palisades Fire evacuation zones, the Santa Monica Police Department announced Sunday.

"Star Wars" actor Mark Hamill was among the thousands who evacuated Los Angeles. Other stars, including Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal, and Milo Ventimiglia have lost their LA homes.

A new expanded evacuation order has been issued for all areas north of Montana Avenue from the beach to 11th Street. Residents in this area must leave IMMEDIATELY.

The blaze, which has burned 23,700 acres in western Los Angeles since starting on Jan. 7, has been tricky to wrangle. Its northern edge, by Mandeville Canyon, is the area of biggest concern, said Robert Clark of Cal Fire.
