Widespread evacuations orders issued as Palisades Fire charges toward hillside homes

The Palisades Fire broke out in the Santa Monica Mountains around 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday and immediately began charging toward the community of Pacific Palisades. Images captured by nearby wildfire cameras show the fire bearing down on homes perched on hillsides there.
