Ventura County coastal town divided on name: ‘Port’ or ‘Beach’? Voters will now decide

An initiative on this week's ballot, if approved, would rename Port Hueneme as Hueneme Beach in attempt to drive attention to the small strip of sand on the city's southern edge.
