San Gabriel man arrested after Santa Monica stabbing leaves man hospitalized, his sister injured

Ivan Angel Plancarte of San Gabriel was arrested for suspicion of attempted murder. He is being held on $1 million bail and awaiting a court appearance on Wednesday. According to the Santa Monica Police Department, the stabbing occurred Saturday around 2:25 a.m. in the 1700 block of Ocean Front Walk.
