Judge denies motion for new trial for ‘Hollywood Ripper’

A judge denied the defense’s motion for a new trial for the so-called “Hollywood Ripper” on Friday. Michael Gargiulo was convicted of killing and mutilating two California women. A third survived his attack and testified against him.
