CA: LA Metro adds nearly 90,000 low-income fare pass holders as rate hikes loom

When Metro resumed its fares in January, which it did not collect in the first years of the pandemic, it re-instituted its LIFE program and the GoPass program that offers K-12 and community college students free rides.
