A bakery that specializes in French desserts is planning on opening in Fox Point

After baking together and starting a home-based business during the pandemic, a mother-daughter duo are planning on opening Matilda Bakehouse in Fox Point. If they get the approval of the village board on Sept. 12, Julie Howard and her daughter Alexandra Fisher are planning on opening the bakery on North Santa Monica Boulevard on Feb. 1, 2024.
